DONALD'S POETRY

well now...what can i say about donald???? i think the only thing i can say about donald is that hes unique. ive noticed that most of my friends are, but im going to have to agree with myself when i say that hes by far the wierdest, but in a good way. i met him last summer while working at a telemarketing place back home. if you happened to pass him by on the street, you would think him to be crazy, but after talking to him for a couple minutes, you can tell that its just his intellect shining through. hes been known to write an entire poem in a minute, which is astonishing to me. and whats more, its good too....so far ive only collected three of his poems but i know that he has a vast collection so when i get those put up youll know...

stand
i sit and think
begin to sink
into my mind's wet sand;

and then my heart;
(it's turn, it's part)
tend's to lend a hand.

to pull me out,
without a doubt
from grievious thoughts and sunders

i need that hand
so I can stand
through times when my mind wanders.

denial
i sit here and i think
of things that could have been
of happiness denied me,
as if a being of sin.

no longer does it bug me,
though strikes me all the time
sure it stings a little
or so i say (in rhyme)

okay, so of the pain,
a little exaggerated
in truth i'm barely sane;
my heart is still serrated.

well, still i sit and take it,
learning nothing from mistakes;
of flames that long to be lit,
only to fly below the stake.

stand
1st
i will stand beside the ocean,
i stand beside the sea
waiting
and wanting
for you to be with me.

i will stand beside your coffin
and i will stand by your death bed
loving
and holding
you 'till you rest your head

Chorus:
and i'm sorry
so sorry
circumstances led to this again:
and i'm sorry
so sorry
loving you was my greatest sin.

2nd
i will stand until you fade out
i will stand until you die
prying
and crying
to see the reason why;

you left me when you did, there
amongst the blood red sin,
of pain and
of hurt and
of depthless misery.

(Chorus)
